Here is the email I fired off to the program director in response to the overload of Steeler trash on the radio. 570 during the season is suppossed to be a Browns station. Now these morons are all over the Steelers jocks. I want to puke! The guys name is Dan Rivers....
"Dan,
Im a 23 yr old Browns fan here in Youngstown. Ill be graduating from YSU in May. Its hard enough to deal with the evil Pittsburgh Steelers being in the AFC Championship game, but hearing pro-Steeler advertising and "Here we go.......Here we go Steelers.....Here we go" is just too much. I know you or whoever gave opproval for this atrocity is doing it for the money. I can understand that, if revenue is down, you need cash. But encouraging the toothless, inbreds around the area to act more unruly and uncivilized than they already are is going too far. It bad enough I have to see the sloped forehead, Ben Roethlisberger jersey wearing, yahoos dragging their knuckles around the area (IN OHIO!).
So please....for the love of all things holy, and all the saints, stop this madness or issue an on air apology to the disaffected Browns fans in the area. Until the wretches from Pittsburgh are driven back to their slimey hovel, Ill be tuning into WTAM."
