Okay, kids. 31 flavors this week, but they should normally be around 10 to 15 tops (depending of course on how funny you choads are feelin').

All Post of the Week options here have the same titles they have in the "Posts & Contexts" thread of the corresponding week, so if you ain't sure what the hell a title is, you should go over to the other thread and read all the comedy gold of the week anyway.

Voting is anonymous, so no one has to be a baby about that (or worry about showing favorites, etc.).

This was a huge week (IMO), and we need ta give credit to Maker's culinary foibles for supplying at least HALF of these sweet lulus.

There's too many choices! There should be 7 selections, that represent each day of the week (metaphorically speaking). That way, we won't have anymore of this bullshit where JD wins with two votes and 27 other people tie for runner-up with only one.

Seriously, you gotta consider simplifying this thing. Imagine a scenerio in the not so distant future when we have 45 choices and only one of em is a Dogbert post. Then imagine him voting for his post.... that's 1! Then imagine someone like Ed being all stoned and shit and thinking that he made a smart choice... That's 2! Then imagine Holeface being all drunk off his ass and accidentally voting for Dogbert's shitty post... That's 3! Then he wins because all the other posts got only one vote each!!!

Sorry, Savs ... with all due respek, I addressed that issue in the other thread (and in this one) -- from next week forward, there ain't gonna be more than 10 - 15 tops. This was a bursted dam of loonies for the first one, but had I thought JD was gonna maybe eke it out with a one-word post against all these other masterpieces, I may've narrowed it down.

Yeah, I think we should make future POTW's NOT anonymous -- no one's allowed to vote for themselves. I'm guessin' JD's three votes were JD, Baby Wedge & Dogbert. Maker's one vote was obviously Maker (lol). This way, we'll really cut to the quick.

Because there were so many this week, I'm personally giving THREE awards out (it's only reasonable, considering the size of the field). Yeah, I think BY's Theory of Pets almost cost me my life (literally) from laughing so hard (as did Hole's comment on Vako's garden-slug ceviche), but I think every one of these was still the stuff that makes me log in every day -- "foh' a lahf."

Them were all wicked funny. But three are goin' to the top. Sorry, JD. lmao At least you're in the running (SO FAR ...). lol

Speaking of Vako's awesome ceviche, The Sav (on XBL last night) asked me about it. I can't POSSIBLY do it justice, but it started with the question, "Now ... WHAT the fuck is that shit called?" and between the deliver and sheer disgust of the first question, I then heard the words, "turnips an' mollusks in it ..." and I was fuckin' DONE!

I had to drop my sticks; couldn't breath; saw spots; almost fainted; no O2 to the brain ... and that fucker just kep' on goin'. For those of you not in the know (read: everyone but four of us), to get hit with a frag grenade in the opening second of a game is IMPOSSIBLE and totally unheard of. We start a game on a large cargo ship, and not even THREE SECONDS into the game, I can hear a grenade launcher screamin' overhead from clear across the map and I can see the tracer of smoke trailin' behind it in a corkscrew, perfectly arced at three of us. BLAMMO!!! We got ended -- +30 for that homo.

Two of us are laughing at the utter INSANITY of it happening, and Sav's quiet as a church mouse. Then you just hear him say, in THEE most purely disgusted, slow-paced voice you've ever heard: "WHAT - A - FAAAAAAAG."
