i need one of these for BF2 ;)
Awsome ! That scored footage is from "The Atomic Bomb Movie, Trinity and Beyond", an excellent documentary by Peter Kuran, and narrated by William Shatner! The score was performed by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. The documentary includes test footage that, before this documentary was released, was never before seen by the public, such as the cannon shot, much of the test footage was classified before the Freedom of Information Act.
It is also worth noting that Peter Kuran was the guy that did all of the propaganda segments for the excellent film "Starship Troopers".
"Trinity And Beyond" has a home on my video shelf, I love to show it to friends and visitors.

My copy of it came with 3-D glasses. Keep an eye out in case that isn't the norm. Also has a wacky warning label:
WARNING! This disk contains extremely low frequency dynamic range.

I saw that movie not so long ago and it was very informative. Shatner does a excellent job at narrating it.

Anyone have anymore links to atomic explosions?!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?
Cool, other than the edited in melting bus/car/house, shockwave, which is obviously from something much more powerful.

"Upshot Knothole"... where's misser hall????
I suggest everyone do more research. it may not be as impressive, as the video, but real life rarely is.. . Start at wikipedia, and search "nuclear weapon", or "nuclear testing".

tons of cool shit to read!

Kuran did take some visual editing liberties in the production, yet it still is accurate and informative enough to be called a documentary. The cannon shot designated "Shot Grable" had a yield of 15 kilotons. The footage of the car, bus, house, and caged rodents was most likely from a structural effects test. I concur that was most likely of a much higher yield.
