Hey all my fellow donut eaters,

Phil has mentioned that alot of cops are listners. So if you're a copper, sound off with your agency (if you don't want to list your agency, at least put what part of the country you are in), how many years on, current assignment, how many years listening, etc.

I'll start:
California City Police Department
5 years on
Patrol
been listening since 96 when Phil first came to KFI in Los Angeles.

Maybe the chance is remote, but if any of you guys ends up on Cops, we need a signal of some sort. Maybe call all the perps a jackball or something like that.

You coppers need to be commended. Thats a tough job that doesnt get paid what its worth. Its one of those jobs where no one wants to deal with you, so those who do are always upset about having to do so. Kinda like people who work at a hospital, noone goes to the hospital in happy chipper kinda mood, so the people who work there have to deal with people at their worst. Ya Savvy?

that being said................ *cough* *cough* <hides stash>

I'm in Alabama working for a medium sized department.
On the job for 21 years, and currently Investigations Supervisor.

I've been listening since 2001. I keep Phil on in the background while I push papers around my desk. It's great fun when some rube wanders in my office at just the wrong time!

Jay Santos is welcome to drop by anytime and "take a peek".
