I hear they're getting rid of the 'Intel Inside' motto as well... Good, I was tired of Intel being inside of my box... Uh...yeah... you know what I meant... right?

That's great marketing. The "Intel D 920" sounds way sexier. :?

Oh my God, what a mistake! The cool Pentium name is as important as the technical specs, from a marketing point of view, imho. If they give up the Pentium name, they better come up with another cool name, pronto.

They have the "Zeon" name now I guess... Doesn't do it for me... They might as well call it the SPODC.

I think this has to do with Apple, myself.

Apple advertising the latest Mac with a Pentium chip brings up memories of the PC. Call it a 713, and it's different.

Whatever they do, the ass-end of the processor market will await their new line :).

It just occured to me! Every time I hear or read the word "Celeron" I think of a salad bar! Who chose THAT silly name?

What will I fry my eggs and ham on now that the P-4 is going to be retired?

"Heroic cooling solutions for the P-4 3.0 GHz in a micro ATX-case since 2004" :)
