Anyone got this game? I beat it, but am now stuck as shit. Anyone had any luck in "overtime mode?" I keep running into special forces guys in the first stop (grocery store) in the scavenger hunt. They take my clothes, weapons, and tie me to a pole every time. Then I have to either re-start or escape weaponless and in me underpants. There has to be a trick to this, but neither of my walkthroughs explain it.

You go back where that chick is holed up above that one part of the mall, IIRC.

I could be totally wrong. Been so long since I beat/played it.

I do think the ending you got might have fucked you. I'm not sure, I just know there are ways you can screw it up and it takes forever to go back and redo.

Very awesome concept of a game, but they made it way too hard for your average gamer and I think it cost them in the long run.

I made it to Isabella's hide out and saved it with a full inventory and full life. But as soon as I go out for the first-aid kit, the special forces assholes follow me at about a clip of ten at a time. It takes 4 shots to the head with a sniper rifle to kill one of them. And they have big-ass machine guns that fuck you up. I wish I could take my "Soap" character from COD 4 to finish this fucker! I'm SO close to beating the game and unlocking all the cool shit, but I swear I don't think it's possible.

Can't. I mean, I could go out and kill zombies, but I have to get some nectar from the food court to get queens on any regular basis. The Special Ops are waiting WAY before that.

So why are the military guys trying to rape/kill/mug/maul you? Is it like an every man for themselves type of deal or does the main character piss them off at some point in the game?

They're in the mall killing off zombies and survivors (since they may be infected.) Bastards are really fucking hard to kill. Especially in numbers and when they have you trapped in a hallway.

Hmmm, You have really been a supporter of this game. I bet it is on the cheap now, and i am considering giving it a go. Is it really hard though? I am not apposed to using a walkthrough when i get stuck, but, i am not looking to play a game that makes me frustrated an shit.

Dude, it's beautiful. Until you get into the post-game shit... Which seems like is easier if you don't kill folks you're supposed to at least TRY to rescue (which I did, for a while). When a girl would start crying in the corner, I'd slash her upward from ass to back of neck. Seems I mighta gotten a better ending if I'd just left her in a heap crying for zombies to eat. But they were closin' in on MY ass if I kept talking her off the ledge. Fuck that, play like you'd play.

I'm convinced there is a glitch in the game, at least on my last save. Still, it was a ton of fun. COD4 has ruined other shooters for me, though.
