(Edit: I think BYP should win the distinct honor of Poster of the Year for 2007, all things considered: laugh-per-post ratio, brevity, selectivity, and just general fucking drollery. Well, at least Poster of the Last Fiscal Quarter of 2007, if not.)

By the way, of my three favorite posts of the year, one of them is BYP's pic with that perfectly worded caption. I can't continue laughing at that pic as it puts me in pain. Even an 8" floppy drive wouldn't have been as funny as THAT particular 5.75" drive. Hooooo boy. Reminds me of an old SNL bit where Tom Hanks is an Iranian huxter selling fucked-up/broken merchandise out of his van in some boiler-room satellite call-in show, and someone goes, "Hey, Amir, last week I bought a 4-head VCR from you on your show... <long pause> and I put an 8-track tape in it... and it played."

God, I used to not miss a single episode of SNL (and knew every great bit cold from the beginning till about 2002), then it went STRAIGHT down the terlet for me. A real travesty. Jimmy Fallon was the last nail in the coffin, and I'm glad his career went the way of "The Fat Man" we all once dug here.
