Well, it's time for a golf thread. And, if you can't dig what The Cow is cooking, then move on.

After playing with DCI's for about 10 years, I finally broke down and bought a new set of irons. I went with TaylorMade r-7 draws. Sweet set of clubs. Then, to top it off, I bought a Callaway FT-5 driver. Holy sweet cruise, the ball absolutely explodes off the club face. :dance:

BTW, anyone watch Tiger make bitches out of the field yesterday? Hey Rory, that throbbing sensation in your bunghole region is Tiger's putter.

Man those sound like some sweet clubs. I have a Ben Hogan driver my neighbor gave to me when he bought the Taylor Made R-7 Driver. I couldn't believe the difference in my driving accuracy with it. I found a Ben Hogan hybrid rescue club to match the new driver and it has changed my game again. Just with the new equipment I'm 8 strokes better per round. (And my golf game is better too.)

I'm still just a weekend hacker, some people just don't get golf and why we like it. I had a guy tell me it is just a huge waste of time and boring, then I pointed out how much time he spends fishing and how boring I think fishing is and I think he got the point.

Cliff, did you have to make any adjustments with the hybrid? I bought the r-7 hybrid 3 iron, and I can't get the hang of it at all.

No, thats the beauty, it worked for me without changing my horrible swing. No more 3 & 4 irons for me.
