...if most of yous guys who own PSPs have found them untiring sources of fun and hilarity, or ended up using them as paperweights. Today is the last day I can return mine to Best Fry and still get me mooney back, and I am dickering. That's a word that has nothing to do with male figure skaters, and much to do with not being able to make up one's mind.

I bought a 2GB stick, I rip my own movies with AoA DVD Ripper and load them onto the PSP. It is nice to have for long flights, the screen is big enough to watch movies without being annoying like an ipod. I have some MP3's loaded on and I have some games so keep it if you will use it.
I started buying the UMD movies, but they are over-priced and they clutter the place up. Thats why I researched how to rip the DVD's and put them on Memory Stick. Now I can get a movie from RedBox or NetFlix and keep a copy in portable format.

I use mine at work to play MLB 07, but i can't say i'm having loads of fun with it. God of War, Madden 08 and D&D: Tactics are the reason i will keep it.

I bought one for my kid a year or so back. I have to prise him off of it so I can have a go. I'm addicted to Lumines, & Pro Evo soccer. I'm thinking of getting me own one.
Apart from Mario Kart, it pisses on the DS, in my opinion.
What's with all the electronics threads anyway? You ramraid a Best Buy?

I have a psp and a DS and the games on the DS are way better.
Most PSP games are ports from ps2 games and play like shit.
The machine itself is great though.
Most games on the DS are developed purely for the DS. The games are far more fun and original than psp games, the touchscreen control is implemented really well in some games.
So many games on the psp just arent suited to playing on the go.
I'm playing Planet Puzzle League on the DS at the moment and its probably the greatest puzzle game since tetris.

All good points, plus the online play on the DS is great.
But the fact remains that, for me at least, the games on the DS are too wanky. It's like they're aiming at a toddler/chick/OAP/Jap demographic that I just can't identify with. Yet.
How much do you want for yer PSP, H? :poke:

I think i'll hang onto the psp for a while but you'll be the first to know if i ever decide to flog it.
DS games play better when they're free. I've always loved dem gook RPG games though.
Btw you can download lumines on xbox live for the 360. Its identical to the psp version but its in lovely HD.
