That's right! You knew who I was referring to. This is the one reality show that does not suck and the season debuts tomorrow night. There is just not enough of this guy on American TV.
Just to give you a refresher course:

Sledge, you don't know how happy I was when I saw the previews the other day. I can't wait to see him yelling and making people cry!
Yeah, I pulled up their site a few weeks ago. Talk about a guilty pleasure. Why the Hell do I enjoy watching that irritating limey rail on all those rubes? I love those cooking shows those. I just saw that Top Chef has a special on later this week with finalists from the first two seasons battling it out.

Oh, good to know boss. I like Top Chef also. Weird how I like all of these cooking shows yet I never seem to pick up any skills from them.

Limey?
Fuck that. He's no Englishman, although he sounds suspiciously like one. He's a Sweaty Sock, that bastard.
I'm not a Hell's Kitchen fan, but there's this other show he does called Kitchen Nightmares, where he goes to failing restaurants & shouts at everyone. Do you have that over there? That's the bollocks.

we get a couple of his shows on BBC America.... Hell's Kitchen rules, I was in LA last year when him and a couple of the chefs were giving out samples on the street....

His chin looks very much like a walnut, I've noticed.

I was told not to mind those.

He'll be doing an American version of Kitchen Nightmares this Summer.
(is "Sweaty Sock" slang for Scotsman?)

Aye, laddie.
Sweaty Sock = Jock.
Kitchen Nightmares is great because it's real. Desperate restaurant owners get Ramsey in as a last resort, & most of them are big headed wankers who think they know better than Gordon. And pretty much ALL the head chefs try to give it the big 'un, stand up to him & then get humiliated.
I hope they show the Yank one over here.

Having seen this show a few times, I'm left pondering the following:
Is that insufferable cunt of a "chef" more pathetic, or are the total 'tards they find to be his students?

Come on, Cow..it is pure pleasure to watch Chef Cunt yell "Fuck off" to scared shitless wannabes.
One of the chicks on there works in a Waffle House...A WAFFLE HOUSE! That's casting genius, far's I'm concerned. Just the possibility that egg burning, grease ladeling bitch has a chance to run her own high class foo-foo grub stop is hy-sterical to me.

At least the Waffle House chick wasn't the one serving the spaghetti from off the top of the garbage pail. I can't believe that girl!

Yeah, and if I were the Chef, I woulda jettisoned her ass before the other chick ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Didn't quite understand that one, nope.

No kidding. Reminded me of that Seinfeld episode.
Between the one chick serving the rancid crab, the other serving raw scallops and then spaghetti girl, I don't think you could pay me enough to at HK anytime soon.
The one I saw had people who actually sorta knew how to cook. Where'd they get the ones for this season? Rounded up at the bus stop?

The whole thing strikes too close to home for me. I wanted to be a chef, and I even went to school for short time with that in mind. My first few jobs in the field led me to believe I just didn't have the stones for it, and also I'm not that big a douche. I understand why people enjoy the show, I just can't watch it myself, I hate those types of chefs and I've worked with more than one. I've also worked with level headed guys that can get the job done with out running the help off. Just because you have a skill is no reason to be an ass to people you are supposedly teaching. Set this same show in another sort of workplace and you'd have people sending hate mail. "Hell's Day-Care" perhaps, or "Hell's Dentist" maybe? Anyway, I'm not saying 'take it off the air' but to me its Gordon thats the train wreck I can't look away from, so I just don't watch the show.

:-k I think Gordon Ramsay can't form a sentence unless every other word in it is "f*ck".
It seems to be a neurological disorder of sort. Toureetes, perhaps.:-k
Or else he's just a domineering, type A asshole.

There's probably a reason it's called HELLS kitchen and not "Happy sunshine flower happytime with the nice sparkly kind chef-san". Who wants to see a kind wonderful chef being supportive of everyone as they forget that you cannot make fond (or truly brown or get a good pansauce goin') in a nonstick pan?
