As big of a Nascar fan as I am, the Indianapolis 500 was what got me into racing when I was a kid. Tomorrow is a racers fantasy day. Ifn ya like the ovals that is. The 500 tomorrow afternoon, then Nascars Coca-Cola 600 tomorrow evening. 1100 miles of racing!!!

Also the field of the Indy 500 is looking a lot better these days...

Starting in the middle of row 3, Danicka Patrick

Open wheel = Boring

As for Danica, the sow needs to start winning races. Otherwise, just cut to the chase ansd get nekkid in Playboy.

Open wheel = Boring

Other than the fact that NASCAR has marketed their drivers in a vastly superior fashion, I don't get why NASCAR is "better" than open wheel racing. The cars are faster, right? So what's the big deal? I'm admittedly not much of a racing fan; I'm just curious.

Unless Danica Patrick is getting naked, no thank YOU!

Wages, I don't think of one type of racing as better than another. They're different is all. And I prefer one to the other.

Having said that, faster doesn't = better racing. Hell, some of the best racing in America is your local Saturday night dirt tracks. And the closest most fun to watch of those is usually the little 4banger divisions they have.

I like IRL. I like the technology in F1, but find the racing dreadfully boring. The other day in Monaco, the second place car was catching the leader, but had team orders not to F with him, WTF? I thought they were supposed to be racing!

And I'd nail Danica 10 ways to Monday!!! \\:D/

Hells yeah, baby! But, Cruise, they're going yellow about every 10 laps.

Johnson just bailed out of his burning car!

At some point, they've got to stop letting the trashed cars back on the track. There has been debris all over the place.

BTW, why do they keep showing that Daytona 500 promo with Kelly Clarkson? Good gawd, she looked like she shoved a Busch car up her ass.

Because it'll be the 50th running of the Daytona 500. I'm afraid you're going to see that from now until Feb, Go have mercy on us.

I agree about the wrecked cars. What would help that is if Nascar only awarded race points to the top 25 finishers of each race. Then if you crash out, you couldn't gain anything by going back on. But if you go back on now you could gain a position or two and valuable points.

I've got lots of ideas for Nascar, but Brian France won't return my calls :-k . I don't get it.

I got a Tony Stewart hat at Home Depot a few years ago, so I guess I'm pulling for him.
