He's taken some shit roles, but can deliver with the best of 'em when casted properly. A better agent is all the guy needs (I hope). Raising Arizona alone could carry him as a potential great IMHO, and even mediocre "Leaving Las Vegas" and "Honeymoon in Vegas" were raised by his presence. Better than average actor by any benchmark, but he's been in some of the biggest stinkers of all time, I'll give ya that. Verdict is out for now in Russel's book.

Well, none apply. How 'bout: Wild At Heart was the ONLY thing he ever did worth a shit (because of David Lynch) and should be a fucking busboy, not an actor.

I'll probably get lambasted for saying so but I like most (but not all) of the films he's been in including Matchstick Men, The Family Man, City of Angels and Adaptation.

Shit. You're right; I totally spaced on Arizona - that & Wild At Heart. :tipofthecap:

He's really become a bad cartoon the last six or seven years.

^ and those times are few are far between, and occuring less and less nowadays.

Nick Cage is done. I laughed and laughed when I heard he was pissed because he wasn't considered for the Superman role.

I like Mr. Cage and most of the movies he's done. Hell, all actors have a stinker or two. Matchstick Men

I wouldn't say he's the greatest actor for our generation, he's not the worst actor for our generation, I like what he does. This ties in rather nicely with the topic at hand.

I love raising arizona, its one of the coen brothers best.

I can take a pass when it comes to Nicolas Cage, hes been involved in one too many shite films to be fair. Also his 'serious' comic book obsession is a bit lame; calling himself cage after the superhero, naming his son Kal-El after Superman...

Nicolas Cage...4 out of 10.

I actually saw Nick Cage- and Julianne Moore, for that matter- filming in downtown LA on Hope and 5th about 6 months ago. Just saw a billboard for the flick, I guess it's coming out soon: Next.

P.S. Julianne Moore is a hot midget MILF in person.
