I heard this locally on the news, it's not a national event, but a sadistic one. Around here, a few counties over from Tampa, a man stole cats from the neighborhood and put them in a garbage can, drenched them in gasoline, then lit them all up on fire until they died a horrible death. The neighbor, who was owner of one of the cats burned alive to a crisp, says that she and several others woke up in the middle of the night and went outside because she heard a shriek of screaming which later turned out to be the cats themselves as the fire was started. This bastard got out on bail, but the neighborhood's giving him hell. His name is Richard Wyatt.
Richard Wyatt, now that's one motherfucker I'd like to gut with my tomohawk, and yes I do have a tomohawk.

The smell of cat urine alone can drive a man to go Bakersfield Chimp on their feline asses and grab the kerosene and matches

Tampa Police have arrested a 30-year-old man accused of killing neighborhood cats using a propane torch. The investigation is still continuing, but Richard A. Wyatt is in jail for Animal Cruelty.
Investigators say Wyatt admitted he killed the cats at his home at 8410 Orangeview Avenue N.
Police say Wyatt is also a suspected of shooting a pellet gun at their helicopter during a flyover last week on an unrelated call.
Jail records list Wyatt's occupation as a sales representative for Florida Cooling Supply in Tampa.
The man answering the phone at the business refused to comment on Wyatt's employment status or arrest.
Wyatt is being held in the Hillsborough County jail on three counts of Animal Cruelty. His bond is set at $6,000.
Police say Wyatt told them he was trying to rid the neighborhood of cats and wanted the animals to stay out of his yard.

Case Updates
Police have recovered three dead cats on scene that appear to have been burned to death with a propane torch, according to Tampa Police spokesperson Larry McKinnon in a statement.
Investigators say neighbors heard cats yelping late last night. Hillsborough County Animal Services says the cats had been trapped, doused with gasoline, burned with a blow torch, and drowned in large garbage cans.
Officers have placed Richard Wyatt, 30, under arrest at his home, 8410 Orangeview Ave North.
"This is direct, deliberate torture," said Ofc. Greg Hattle.
Hattle says Wyatt is charged with at least three counts of felony animal abuse.
A neighbor who lives across the street from Wyatt and identified herself only as "Nicole," said her 8-month-old Siamese mix Skeeter is one of the dead cats.
"This was an ongoing problem that escalated, said the tearful 23-year-old. "He would shoot animals."
A Tampa Police report says Animal control will conduct necropsies, which are the animals equivalent of an autopsy. Evidence of torture could lead to more charges.
Wyatt was upset that neighbor's cats were on his property, according to a Tampa Police incident log.

We've had a lot of animal cruelty cases happen around here these past few months too. As some of you know, I volunteer at a shelter and it always amazes me what people can do to an animal. If only I could turn around and do the same to them.

Horrible, Taco, we agree. I was thinking, anyone willing to form a descent sized mob and give him the axe? Nevermind. Too illegal. But horrible. It makes you wish you could be the punisher on them. But at that rate, the list would never end...

Good idea Pincher. What a bad crime, he goes up there with Hitler and Zedong and Pot. Animals are defenseless and hurting them, you're as weak as a man in a baby bonnet riding a tricycle during a gay pride parade.

Meanwhile in the land of reality, I wonder how many dead bodies he has hiding under the baseboards of his house?
I have a sneaky idea this guy is a little more Buffalo Bill than we think.
I'm not saying,I'm just saying is all.

Yeah. Probably a serial killer. He probably went down all the signs: Urinated on the bed the night before, lit his urine on fire and burned some crap and then tortured the cats. By the way, I keep saying, another reason, because I keep forgetting i'm not in the One million reasons why God will destroy the world forum. Sorry...

This guy is my hero.
I'm going to make copies of this article and tape it to every one of my neighbors doors, (and mine too to throw off suspicion) and attach my own note to it. Something like : THIS COULD HAPPEN HERE IF THINGS DON'T CHANGE.
1 Steel garbage can- Check
1 Gallon regular, 87 octane- Check
Matches- Check
Or maybe I'll put cat food in the engine compartment when I come home and leave the car in the driveway. I'll just step out and start it once in a while and see If an "accident" occurs.
