I don't think it's funny anymore, just overused, like SLG or Russy the pedo. If it stays, it shoud have a limited use, like once a week. It's more irritating than funny when 30 ancient threads get bumped and have to be weeded through. Anything that starts getting used by a Wonk should signal it's death.

It's not really the cricket jar anymore. It's evolved into many other forms keeping it fresh and funny. Maybe the original cricket jar it's self is old but posting a pic or gif to let people know thier thread sucks is not.

True, but you and the Sav are pretty much the only ones who mix it up. And that pretty much happens for new threads that suck. I think the discussion is focused more on digging up 6-10 month old turds. That's why KFJ gave Wages a timeout.
