Adam Carolla is full of nothingness. I can not understand how the man has a show on the radio. Then I decided to listen to the radio and find out. I figured it out, He doesn't have a show.
Now, Im not a talk radio fan outside of PHS. I did listen to the Howard stern show every now and then, but It seemed I was way too late in the game, and it just seemed like an inside joke game going on for the fans and him. Yet it was still Interesting to listen to.
The AC show started off not trying to be OUTRAGEOUS like the Howard Stern show. However listening to it in the middle of other stations commercials has brought me to the conclusion the show is complete trash.
The bits take like 5 days to get through, I cant see how anyone would think its funny. Adams rants make no sense, and aren't funny.
And why does Jimmy Kimmel ALWAYs show up on the show. Then it becomes more of a boring ass show, as they talk about what they did last night at Jimmys house.
Phil was right about radio, you have to know what youa re doing once you get on. You ojust cant broadcast coming out of T.V.
The Adam Carolla show is now trying to be the Howard Stern show, with the lude and disgusting acts. I hate to say it, but Howard Stern at least pulled all of that with class.
I really wish the show was cancelled, and that they bring a Radio Personality in that time frame.
I listen to ANYTHING during the drive. But I can NOT listen to the adam carolla show.
Thanks

I haven't heard Adam's new show, so I really can't comment on it.
That said, Adam Carolla is primarily a radio personality. Sure, he appears on TV every now and then, and the Man Show kicked a lot of ass when he hosted it, but he started out (I believe) on Kevin & Bean. That's when he and Jimmy Kimmel started working together.
Not to mention, he did the show, "Lovelines" with Dr. Drew Pinsky for a long time. That show was infinitely better when he was hosting.
Adam Carolla may not be the next Howard Stern. He may not even be a good morning show host (although, he obviously did well enough on Kevin & Bean to land the Man Show gig...). But he's certainly a Radio Personality. He's made me laugh for a lot of years on a lot of shows.

Adam Carolla seems to be better as the goofball to that Dr. Drew's straight arrow, buttoned down persona. Probably a hard transition for the dude

Carolla was masterful on "Loveline". His morning show is entertaining to me and I always have it on. Carolla has been my Hendrie replacement.
There are a lot of people who didn't think Hendrie was funny too. But to my tastes, Carolla is a master and the best personality on the air right now.
His work on the Man Show and Loveline was awesome. How can you not laugh at him? He's great.

Did you ever see his comedy central talk show, lasted about a millisecond?
Let's just say that one makes his radio show look like Masterpiece Theater.
He can be funny in small doses and I think he's better on the radio than anyplace else.
Certainly I do NOT want to see him on TV anymore.
Actually I never did.

I don't much care about carolla either way. The guy I can't stand is that partner of his from the manshow that now has his own late night show..I can't even remember his name.

Danny Bonaduce to Join THE ADAM CAROLLA SHOW on CBS RADIO Beginning on Tuesday, January 2, 2007
Famed Radio and Television Personality Marks Full-Time Return to Radio
NEW YORK, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh off the season two conclusion of the hit non-scripted cable television show, Breaking Bonaduce, Danny Bonaduce will join THE ADAM CAROLLA SHOW as a featured member of the morning drive program (6-10:00AM, PT) beginning on Tuesday, January 2, 2007. Broadcast live out of the show's flagship station, KLSX-FM in Los Angeles, THE ADAM CAROLLA SHOW is carried on six CBS RADIO stations on the West Coast, and syndicated to a host of additional stations. The four-hour program also features Teresa Strasser in the studio.
"If you asked me why I wanted to join Adam's show, my first reaction would be to say poverty," said Bonaduce, "followed quickly by the fact that I'm a big fan and have a lot of respect for his work. There's nothing quite like doing live radio especially with a veteran like Adam. Having done his show in the past I know that there is something unique about what we bring to the table. I'm thrilled to be included and look forward to being back on the air full time."
"After completing a successful first year, THE ADAM CAROLLA SHOW is poised to reach new heights in 2007," said Chris Oliviero, Vice President, Programming, CBS RADIO. "Adam's candid and true to life sense of humor has served the show well since its debut. We are pleased to take this next step raising the bar in the competitive morning drive ratings race."
Bonaduce has spent a lifetime in show business. His radio career began in Philadelphia and brought him to Chicago, Detroit, New York and Los Angeles, where he was among the most listened to personalities in the market. Bonaduce starred in the series The Partridge Family for a better part of the 1970s, and his other television credits include Eight is Enough, That 70's Show, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, The Drew Carey Show, The Other Half talk show as well as several Partridge Family reunion and dedication programs.
I think this a clear sign the show if floundering. I listen to it occassionally, I like Carolla, but I don't think he is strong enough to carry a whole show. In my mind he's more wise cracking sideman. I guess we'll know the show is really over when they add David Lee Roth to the mix.

Bonaduce is a pretty good radio guy. This will help his show probably, I don't know, I have never heard the Adam Carolla show. He was funny on Loveline but, I am not sure if he needed his own morning show.
My mornings are spent driving to work and listening to O&A.
