Does anyone dig 'Extras' as much as I do???

I stumbled on a 'marathon' of sorts that HBO was doing with its new series 'Extras'. I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time. I think I was just caught off guard but this is just the funniest thing on television. I am a long-time fan of 'Curb...' and they used to run 'Extras' right after it on Sunday nights, I never tuned in. I am so very glad that I finally watched it. It's the same dude from the BBC version of 'The Office', I believe.

Oh yes. Big fan of that show. I downloaded the BBC version of the office last year and immediately bought the full series DVD. Awesome show by a comedy genius. I love the girl's accent in Extras. Hopefully that show will run more than 2 seasons.

Yea ... Extras is keen. That chick is hot, all ditsy and all, i like her. <insert herb sewell laugh> I loved when ben stiller was on as that pompous director. When ever someone questioned him He kept saying things like, " You know how much 'Along Came Polly' made on opening weekend? " and talking about all his other credits. and the one were Patrick Stewert tells him all the ides for his show, and they are all about women getting naked and no plot.

I do like the show....

from what Phil has said though, he dosnt seem like the biggest fan of it. I think it was mainly his annoyance at talented British actors coming over here and ruining themselves, but honestly, I dont see Gervais doing anything of the sort with this show.... :/

Youve got to admire Gervais for not selling out. Ok, so he had Ben Stiller & Samuel Jackson in Extras, but the episodes that had Ross Kemp & Les Dennis as the famous guest star werent exactly made with one eye on the global market. You Yanks out there are probably saying 'who?' Exactly.

The bits where they interact with the stars can get in the way a bit, if you ask me. Like the Office, the funniest stuff comes from the relationship between the characters.
