The Flashback from Thursday night's show was the "Greenskeeper" bit from the Best of 2000 with Dean Wheeler.
Does anyone have that bit or atleast the full segment involving Dean?
Thanks.

what's the best mIRC client? I'd prefer one that's basic and not bloated or bulky

mIRC is the name of a specific client. IRC is the name of the technology: Internet Relay Chat.
As for the best windows clients, there's pretty much just mIRC. Works the best.

That was part of the reason why I bailed originally. In my oppion it's just not worth paying for. If they made it more user friendly I might consider it but holy jesus it looks like it was designed by a fifth grader.

They must've changed something. I have an old version, and it doesn't bug me to pay for it.

If it's not to much trouble is there any way you can e-mail it to some us? I'd be willing to try it again if it didn't cost anything.

I'm not sure if I coulc, since I don't have the installer, just the installed files.
I'm running version 6.03, look around for that.

Thanks :D
Did anyone laugh as hard as I did at that Rolin Schwinn bit on Tuesday? Where he was so fat he was having trouble breathing and Phil kept cracking up and laughing?
That shit was hilarious!
I don't know about you guys, but I want Phil to do another Jim Rome bit. He hasn't done one in a long time.

Yeah I laughed at that bit, Phil seems to always crack up when he talks about being so fat that it's hard to breathe.
I also miss the jim rome bits. In particular I like the callers who are these snivelling weinies. Hey romey.....
Rack 'im!
Hey have ya'll checked out limewire? it's free and there's all kinds of Phil stuff. It's a file sharing deal, I've been on it for about a month and have had no problems at all.

Yeah it's pretty good. The only thing I don't like about it is they put adware to your computer and if you take it off it stops working.

Look mIRC cost 20 bucks for the license, it works for free for 30 day's and then that's it you need to buy a license (no big deal). There is no subscription fee or any thing like that, it’s a one time cost only. And the dude that said it was like the promise land for Phil audio isn’t joking. If you can't find it on retardtraffic it doesn’t exist.
Get on line, its awesome my brothers.

you don't have to buy mIRC ... you can keep using it but it just takes longer to load from the evaluation version splash screen.
Another good and 100% free IRC client is Ice Chat. Only reason is use mIRC is so you can use the AutoGet scripts ... makes downloading files 1000x easier so you dont have to copy and paste all the paths from everyone's list.

KFJ, I think maybe the name of this thread should be changed to something like "IRC Questions", since other than the first post, this has nothing to do with the greenskeeper bit, and since bit requests can be made in the request thread.
how do I get to #retardtraffic? I'm using a client called "Snak" because I don't have Windows... well, I do have Virtual PC but it's too slow on 512MB of RAM.

not sure how the syntax works, but the server you join is irc.starlink.org and the channel is retard traffic
on mIRC it's /join #retardtraffic
thanks, looks like that did it.
though, I still don't know what to do.

Perhaps people don't realise the grey-out button becomes clickable after a few seconds? Although I thought it counted down for you to when you can click it to continue...

Well, what's happening?
You should be seeing messages and other people's nicks (those who are in the channel) listed... in which case everything's ok. Then just read the channel ads to learn how to download people's lists of files; and download files as per the instructions in their list.

You're responding to a 5 month old message... hope they're not still having the problem.
