We averaged about 1 new user a day from that link. Then the bomb dropped: got a plug on phil's show and the membership exploded. It's been steadily climbing ever since.

Yeah he's not the biggest fan of wikipedia. Can't say I blame him either. It's a good concept but to let anyone edit your content and present it as fact is going to continue biting them in the ass.
