Anyone see this film over the weekend? I am interested to see it, even though it is 3 freaking hours and Jack Black grinds my gears, i will probably wait for the DVD to come out. But i imagine someone went out to see it. how was it? these are the questions i ask myself.

its pretty fucking good man, more entertaining than Jackson's last project, yep I said it. LOTR wasnt as cool as everyone seemed to think it was :wink:

JB did a cool song on SNL about king kong. I think I'm gonna wait for the DVD though. It takes a bigger deal than this to get me into a theater.

I have never seen the LOTR movies. And i never will. Go ahead call me a party pooper or Mr. Poopy Pants. but aside from the pretty visuals, i could care less about those movies and the fact that they are 9 hours a peice, not a chance. It is funny though, when you tell someone you have no desire to see those films, Often they look at you like you are Herb Sewell.

I had that same attitude when the films were still in production and only the first one had been released on DVD. I couldn't give a crap less and nothing anybody could say would get me to watch them. Part 2 was about to come out, so I finally watched the DVD of part 1, most likely out of sheer boredom or just curiosity. I saw The Two Towers the next day, bought all the DVD box sets and saw Part 3 the day it came out and got the box set of it too.
