Just figured I'd do this thread as a spinoff of "The Daily Show" thread...

I think this show is way funnier because it really captures the egomania of so many conservative talk show hosts (sorry, but I haven't really watched any liberal talk shows [other than the Daily Show, but that doesn't count], so I don't know what they are like); I still crack up every time I see the self-serving intro sequence to the show (where he takes off his glasses and gives a really intense look into the camera and whatnot) and piss myself when I see him running to the guest presidential-style rather than the guest coming to him...

Any thoughts?

Was he the one who did the bit about the "Spendicrats and Republipigs" in Washington? "It's your money, it's my money, and they're spending it!"

Or what about where he debates himself because he's the only one that's worthy?

I saw Colbert live with Phil on stage at the aspen comedy festival last year and outside of Phil He was the funniest and quickest witted person on the stage.He had people in stiches in the audience with his facial expressions alone.Funny guy and Im glad he got his own show. I try to never miss it.
