I realize I'm a little late to the party on this one--I just started watching it last week or so. I don't even know how many season there are but I must have them--all of them! This show is pure genius. My favorite character is Stewie...probably because he sounds an awful lot like Herb.
I can't wait to get the volumes 1 & 2 for christmas. I may or may not watch them all day long in my underwear. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Damn dude, you are late to the show. No fear though. Those first 2 seasons are really good. Many would probably call them better than last season but whatever. Any new Family Guy is still better than anything else on TV for the most part. FOX shot themselves in the foot again by killing Arrested Development.

I know... I never watched it before and just assumed it sucked I guess (like the simpsons--yeah I said it!).
But it's like discovering ... comedy gold!

It's deffinatly Fox's fault. I never watched because traditionally anything following the Simpsons sucked (Including King Of The Hill) so I just assumed it blew huge Chipmunks.

The Danger Narnia bit tonight reminded me of a Family Guy gag. Peter looks in the dryer to find his lost sock and falls into a snowy wood.

Here comes a fawn holding his sock:

Tumnus: Hello, I'm Mr. Tumnus! Welcome to Narnia! (something like that)
Peter: Gimme back my sock you goat bastid!

Agreed and I didn't even think season two was that bad.

That Narnia bit was first season - the only one I watched (on DVD), because I didn't have T.V. reception until recently. Now that I have it, I rarely watch it because it all sucks pretty bad. Except that Sex in the City, man two gold stars and a gay thumbs up to the genius who wrote that comedy gold.

Well...I'm going to be one of the last ones to jump on the wagon. My friend let me borrow season three. I'm going to watch it all tomorrow. I'll post if I have to replace a major organ.

So I ordered a used copy of family guy volume 2 (season 3) from amazon.com last week and it came this week and Disc 2 was the wrong disc. It was volume 3 disc 2 instead of vol.2 disc 2. I emailed the guy and he said he already mailed volume 3 to another guy, probably with my disc in it. He said he would straighten it out... we'll see.
That's what i get for trying to shave a few bucks off the price of a new copy. What a douche (that guy)... and me too I guess. And I can't get disc 2 anywhere by itself because it's part of the set. I am bumming...

I just got the movie. It's great, it's like three episodes put together, but it's actually too much of a good thing. A single episode covers a lot of ground, so much that it feels longer than a half-hour. When you cram three of them into one, your head starts to hurt.

I've actually noticed that there seems to be a fued going on between The Simpsons and Family Guy. For example, in a recent Simpsons episode, two cops are flipping through a book with photos of wanted criminals along with a short description of the crimes that they are wanted for. As they are flipping through, they pause for a second and you can see a picture of Peter Griffin with the word 'plagiary' underneath it.

That's like Phil saying the Jerky Boys ripped him off...I don't see it.

They have similarities (Cartoon, adult, racy) but that's it. The biggest difference is that I watched a season of the simpsons before I got bored...I have watched 2 seasons of Family guy and want more.
