So I have a Virgin Mobile Usb MyFi modem, whatever the hell it's called, for my laptop. I pay $55.00 a month for "unlimited" service. Well, there's actually a 2.5 gb limit on bandwidth, and after that they throttle your speed from 3g speeds to what I would dare say is just as bad as dial-up. So technically the internet service itself is unlimited, just not the 3g speeds. Which brings me to my question. Do any of yall know where a brotha can find a wireless internet card out there that is ACTUALLY unlimited. None of this throttled speed bullshit. I mean cmon, I like to use my laptop wherever I go, I don't wanna deal wit getting a home internet service, and a brotha needs his 3g speeds for "research"

I for one would like the answer to this, and am hoping that SFJ branches out and becomes a site that provides both dick jokes AND tech support.

Check with Beans, he works for Motorola and is working on a Final Solution Modem\EBT card.

Martin, I live out in the boonies and was looking into that . The last time I really looked everything had a limit. Sprint recently released an ad saying they don't, but I think it was for their smartphones.

To be honest it aint really worth it, and I imagine it would be even worse out in the boonies with less coverage and all that. I live on the northern Arizona and southern Nevada border and the coverage is aight, but still. I'd say check into a different one.

Maybe you should "throttle" your "research"
